Provenance𝕏 Tweet5 viewsMay 9, 2026

CVE-2024-7399 represents a critical path traversal vulnerability in Samsung MagicINFO 9 Server that permits arbitrary file writes with system-level privileges. The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated or low-privileged attacker to manipulate file paths and deposit malicious payloads in arbitrary locations on the target system. Exploitation of this vector would enable complete system compromise and lateral movement within affected infrastructure. Organizations operating Samsung MagicINFO 9 deployments in signage and display environments should prioritize patching pending security update availability from Samsung.
